LI:To talk about peaceful people.
This week we had to make a gloogle slide about one peaceful person so me and my group chose malala yousafzai. we had to tell when was she born when did she die.

world war 1 / WW1

LI: To learn about the conflict in WW1 (World War 1).
This week for inquiry we had to get into a pair. Then our pairs got into groups of 6. We had to learn about the vocabulary associated with WW1. Then we split up again just with our pairs. We had to list down the rest of the words. After we had wrote the definition on every word we had to work on the time line within WW1. The years for the time line were not writen so we had to figure them all out and put the scenarios with the years.

Inquiry: Cannons Technology

This week for Inquiry we made a new Technology. We chose: Cannons because we wanted to destroy the enemies and their base. We made another presentation about our new technology. We are starting to make a warfare game with lots of old technology. We had videos and pictures.

This week we did a art about sunset we first got a city scape and we had to put the houses in black so we can get a scape of the city.then we had to prit the city scape then we cut the city next we had to make a sunset to put on the city.

The Panmure bridge

LI : To learn about the panmure bridge
Today me and my group had to make a copy of this slide show so we can discribe the history of the panmure bridge.The task was kinda hard but at the same time easy.I did 2 slides and they were both hard and easy.We had to talk about images that we liked and found interested in.We also had to talk about the time line and also like when the bridge it was made and the history about the bridge.

Collabrating with LS2

LI: Today we collaborate with Ls2.

Today we went upstairs to collaberate with LS2 and the LS2 people has to choose partners and then we had to watch a video and one person from our groups has three minutes to write down on a peace of paper how much stuff they remmember in the video and then make a google drawing that has facts about the seveen sisters and what matariki is about.

Compulsory Tasks, Circulatory System, Explanation,

LI: To learn about the circulatory system

This week for inqiury we were learning about the circulatory system. For our compulsory tasks we were learning about the ciculatory system. This week we were working on our explanation. For the explanation you have to have an title,introduction,explanation and conculsion. The main parts of the circulatory system are-The heart and the blood vessels make up the circulatory system. The circulatory system includes these parts the-Heart,  lungs , Arteries, Veins  Artery, Arteriole, Capillary & Venule.  

Digestive System

LI: To learn about nutrition and to finish off our compulsory task. This week for inquiry we were learning about nutrition. We had to finish off our compulsory tasks. The compulsory tasks that my group and I finished was the google slide and and the poster/ picture. For the google slide we had to write about what each part of the digestive system does. We decided to add some photos. For the google slide my group and I got two points. For the picture we had to draw the parts of the digestive system on a piece of paper. We also had to write down the meaning of each part. My group and I got two points. All together my group and I have nine points because we did some tasks last week too. We only need 2 more tasks to move on to the elective tasks. I had a lot of fun completing two of the compulsory tasks.

Compulsory Tasks

LI: To know what Sensitivity is. LI: To finish the compulsory tasks. This week for inquiry we had to finish off our compulsory tasks. We also had to know what Sensitivity is. My group name is Sea Lions. In my group I have Alice, Sandra, Lorenzo and Akuhata. My group finished 2 of the Compulsory tasks. The compulsory tasks that we finished was the Venn Diagram and the Song Lyrics. For the Venn Diagram we had to compare the human nervous system to another animals nervous system. We had to make a copy of the Venn Diagram. For the song lyrics we had to watch a video called Ice Ice baby ( nervous system remix). Once we watched the video we had to make a DLO and write down a list of scientific and technical words. Then we had to write down the meaning. Every time we finish a compulsory task we either get 0 points, 1 point or 2 points. If we finish all of the compulsory tasks we get to do the Elective tasks.

Ls1 Olympics

I learned about one minute to win it activities in the activities you have to finish the games in one minute . The game that I played was this blows.First you have to get  15 plastic cups on a table and one balloon the you put the timer to start first you blow the balloon then who have to let the air out to make the cups fall down. I did this in 11s and came first place for the game. Lukah came second, and sulia came third.

Commonwealth games Poster/ (SSKS)

LI: To make a poster about the commonwealth games.

This week for inquiry we had to make a poster about the commonwealth games. Mr Wong and Mr Ogilvie asked questions on our slide and we had to answer them on a poster about the common wealth games. In question number six Mr wong and Mr ogilvie told us to find three NZ medalist with there time and distance of winning. We picked Sophie Pascoe,Sam Webster and Ethan Mitchell. If you look at the picture at the bottom They are the people we picked. We also put the stadium photo on there.

LI: To make your group a motto and explain why you made it

Today for inquiry we had to make a google slide and write your motto in there and other motto's. The First motto we did was or motto or motto was" Think Before You Play" we made it as a motto cause we think before we play the match. The second Motto we did was Twitch, The twitch motto was "Don't just watch join in" the motto was made so other people can play games and record well they are playing. The next Motto was YouTube,The YouTube motto is Broadcast Yourself I think it became a motto so people can record there live's and tell story that happen in there live's. The Last Motto was Facebook the motto is "Move fast,Break Things, I think Facebook was made so people can meet others online and know them better and also let fan's talk to famous people.

LI: To Make a Olympic name and Logo for or Olympic challenges

Today For inquiry we had to make a Logo and name for or Olympics challenges, Or Group Name was SSKS which stands for Strength,Speed,Knowledge and Skill, Me and my group also made a logo which means" We don't just come from one Country we come from all around the world". It was a pleasure having my group cause they have a lot of talent and ability's. My group made this on a Google slide and used it to make this logo.

Winter Olympics

LI: to use our searching skills and using our prior knowledge

Today we made a poster about the Winter Olympics. We had to use our searching skills, attribution skills, and our poster designs. We had to use all the things we learned. Mr O put us in to groups of four. Mr Ogilvie told us questions and we had to search them up. We had to look for images and information, but when we were looking for images we had to attribute them. We also had to make the presentation look great. We all had something to do so none was left out.

During this lesson I learned what happens to water when it is heated. When  water  is  heated it evaporates as steam. It then cooled on the sides.This is condensation. This water then comes back down. This is called precipitation.
